SEASONAL ATTUNEMENT RETREATS

Each module of the Yoga Sukhavati 300 hr Teacher Training includes an intensive weekend retreat at Seven Arrows. These weekend immersions in Ayurvedic and yogicseasonal self-care practices, meditation and pranayama, seasonal cooking seminars and nourishing recipes provide balance for the body and mind throughout the year. These retreats offer a deeply embodied experience of community, celebration, and nurture our connection to the cyclical rhythms of nature and practice.


LOCATION

Attunement retreats happen at Seven Arrows, nestled between Hartshorne Woods and the Navesink River is an over 100-year-old stately colonial quietly surrounded by acres of singing woodland, an apple orchard, two ponds, rows of peonies and a bountiful garden.

Spring is the time to cleanse out the old and make room for the new. Learn cleansing practices of Ayurveda and hatha yoga (shat karma). Through detoxifying our bodies and minds, we can awaken from Winter's slumber and create a personal Spring within.

Enjoy the sounds and sights of nature as the 5 senses begin to sharpen under the awareness of silence. We will meditate in short sessions with detailed instruction given on posture. Cultivate your practice with asana that supports meditation and enjoy the quiet of a natural mind. Join us for practices to manifest intention with greater clarity and help balance Vata Dosha, the air element. Morning yoga classes, walking meditation and wonderful organic food are all part of the program.

Enjoy fires around the clock as you learn practices to balance Kapha dosha, the water element, and enjoy the peacefulness of your loving grounded self.
